We offer this service to residential and business customers in 3 forms: Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), Wireless Internet and Cable Modem Internet Service. Depending on your location, we can help you get the speed you need.

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is available in most areas served by the Polar telephone exchanges.

Wireless Internet access is available in many areas of the Polar region, Grand Forks, Grafton and surrounding rural areas. This is a great option for customers who cannot get a land-based broadband Internet connection.

Cable Modem Internet Service is available in the cities of Mayville and Portland. Polar delivers ultra-fast, ultra-reliable Internet access through cable modems. These modems utilize the state-of-the-art fiber technology of a cable TV line to give you unbelievably fast access to the exciting world of the Internet.

Because setting up your Internet software may be confusing, a help desk is available if you need assistance. The first two calls or trouble cases are free within the first six months. After six months the charge is $7.95 per incident.

SecureIT Plus Anti-virus and Spyware Protection

Polar offers Anti-virus and Spyware Protection through Secure IT from Security Coverage. SecureIT is much easier than retail boxed solutions! SecureIT is only $4.95 per month. We also offer a Supported Remote Installation for the one-time charge of $19.95.

With the supported install, a Security Coverage Technician will remotely install the software on the customer's computer and clean the computer of any virus or spyware. With this install, we will guarantee to the customer that their system is threat free and will stay threat free for as long as they are using the service.

Along with the Anti-virus and Spyware protection, you also receive Managed Microsoft Operating system Patch Management, Integrated Pop-up blocker and Hard drive optimization and maintenance.
