Technical Support
Because setting up your Internet software may be confusing, a help desk is available if you need assistance. The help desk number is 888-700-POLAR (888-700-7652). The first two calls or trouble cases are free within the first six months. After six months the charge is $7.95 per incident. Help desk hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Webmail
Webmail allows you to access your E-mail through Polar�s web site using any Internet service provider. Webmail is a free service to our customers who purchase an Internet plan through Polar or $4.95 per month as a Webmail only account. There is a $10 activation fee for Webmail only service.
Equipment Rates for DSL, cable modem and wireless:
Modem: Lease - $3.95/month
Purchase - $99.00
Router: Lease - $3.95/month
Purchase - $79.95
Requirements: DSL & Wireless
Your location must qualify to receive DSL or wireless Internet services from Polar. DSL and wireless services require a NIC Card.
Business pricing includes 1-5 computers. Businesses with 6-10 computers, add $29.95 to the monthly package price. More than 10 computers add $29.95 to your monthly package price, plus $10 for each computer over 10.
EXAMPLE:
A business with 12 computers would pay package price, plus $29.95, plus $20.
Residential = 5 E-mail Addresses / Business = 5 E-mail Addresses + 1 Static IP Address
